The Boys and the Summer Holiday challenge!

Hello my name is Anne and I’m a mum with three boys with eczema, asthma, hayfever and as many allergies as you can probably imagine!

Summer holidays are here and I expect most mums and dads are racking their brains thinking of ways to entertain their children as I am doing!  Particularly challenging with boys the age mine are I find - they’re James 19, David 14 and Joseph 11.

I find that when they are in school we have a good routine with bathing and moisturising, making sure they are taking their hayfever medication, early nights etc.  But just as soon as they are in ‘summer holiday mode’ this routine goes pear shaped to say the least!

Late nights probably have something to do with it as well as the relaxed attitude we all seem to adopt so easily.  Needless to say their skin suffers from this general laid back approach! So when it’s about a week until they all go back to school I am attempting to stop the late nights, desperately trying to get back into the normal regime of early rising followed by applying copious amounts of emollients,  making me a very popular mum, NOT!

I’d be interested to know how you cope with the summer holidays and the more relaxed approach to life in general!?
