Cass Graham

Another runner keen to tick the London Marathon off their bucket list, and fellow marathon newbie, is Cass Graham;

'I've suffered from eczema since I was born, so for me the daily physical and psychological battle with the condition is very real.  The National Eczema Society has always been there for me and the wider eczema community.  It's a charity that is very close to my heart and I wouldn't want to run the London Marathon for anyone else.

I have a target time of about 5 hours but in truth, I will be happy as long as I finish it because that will be my very own record.  I'm hoping to get as many supporters down as I can on the day to cheer me along every mile of the way!

Currently, I'm running three times a week and I've started to train with a personal trainer who specialises in running to help me get in shape and increase my fitness.  I've also joined his running group and have been tested in my local university's fitness lab, which has resulted in the creation of a specific running training plan that is personal to me.  The next step now, having run the Derby 10-mile, is to put in for a half-marathon event!'
