THE BLOGGERS!

nicki-borras-exchange-photo.jpgNicki Borras is the inspiration behind the Blog.  A few months ago, keen to share her ideas and experiences with fellow eczema sufferers, Nicki came to us with a proposal to start a Blog on our website.  Nicki has experienced both ends of the eczema spectrum from having extreme flare ups to having no visible patches at all.  We thought the idea had a lot of potential and so here we are a couple of months later giving it a go!

picture-17.jpgAnne Carnegie is the mother of 3 teenage boys all of whom suffer from eczema.  In the blog Anne will discuss the challenges of day to day management of eczema with 3 children who suffer from the condition to varying degrees.  And sometimes she will just use the blog to let off steam.

ianbankfoot.jpgIan Bankfoot is a 74 year old man who suffered from severe contact dermatitis in his hands and forearms for many, many years.  He has now found ways of successfully treating his condition; a large part of which has been an ongoing commitment to the application of topical steroids and emollients.   Ian reflects on “way back then”; and about how his condition sometimes drove him to take desperate measures!
